AAFD Herb Kaufman Memorial 5K Run/Walk

On April 1, 2007, the Mars Volunteer Fire Company and the Community Fire Department of Valencia came together to form a new organization known as the Adams Area Fire District. 

 The Adams Area Fire District serves the communities of Mars Borough, Valencia Borough, Seven Fields Borough, and Adams Township.

The 5K started in 2007 and was originally named the Adams Area Fire District 5K Run/Walk.  After the passing of Mr. Kaufman, the name of the race was changed to honor Herb for his service and dedication to our organization and community.
