WHAT: In memory of a beloved member of our community, Mr. Herb Kaufman, the 5K is held in conjunction with the Adams Township Community Day & serves as the kick-off to the day’s activities. All proceeds benefit the Adams Area Fire District.
WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 9:00 AM (Race Time)
WHERE: Adams Township Community Park, Mars, PA
WHO: Competitive and amateur runners, joggers, walkers & families. Baby joggers are welcome. No skates or bicycles permitted and NO PETS.
Course
3.1 Mile – out and back course on Three Degree Road, Adams Township, PA. The course starts and ends in Adams Twp. Community Park and is run on scenic country roads through a residential area in Adams Township, route consists of a few uphill and downhill grades and curves.
Entry
$12.00 by August 21 $15.00 after August 21 Fees are not refundable. All Proceeds benefit the Adams Area Fire District. AGE GROUPS: 6-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ AWARDS: Top 3 Overall Males Top 3 Overall Females Medals given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in your age group. | T-SHIRTS : Early registrants (before August 21) will receive a race t-shirt and runner’s goody bag; late registrants, while supplies last. PACKET PICK-UP: Pick up your race number and runner’s bag on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Adams Area Fire District – Station #2, 109 Irvine St. Mars, PA 16046, or at the registration tables at Adams Park on Race Day starting at 8:00 a.m.
